There are two categories for this award:

Apprenticeship
·
Advanced Apprenticeship
The entrant may have introduced a new idea or initiative that has impacted on the business, for example, improved procedures and systems, or made an important contribution to the development of a product or special project.
In particular, judges are looking for entries that
demonstrate the following:
- Commitment to their own personal development and
progression through learning
- Outstanding contributions to their workplace, in
particular, areas or projects where they have
exceeded expectations
- Examples of achievement and attainment in
learning and work
- Inspirational qualities
Who should enter?
Apprentices must be working towards, or have completed an Apprenticeship or an Advanced Apprenticeship. Applicants must have been in Learning and Skills Council funded learning in April 2004 or started their Apprenticeship since Apri 2004.
