
The Leicester Shire Day event was borne out of an ambition to review and develop the economic strategy for Leicester and Leicestershire. Businesses were invited to the event to provide opinion, direction and highlight issues that impacted on businesses in the county.
A series of presentations, workshops and discussion groups gathered feedback from an audience of over 200 delegates. HeadStorm Marketing’s management of the event included:
• database management – including de-duplicating 10 databases.
• copywriting the invitation letter
• managing the invitation process
• response handling
• telesales follow up
• delegate management – including all queries
• reporting to steering committee
• delegate management on the day
• liaison with venue
• production of delegate materials
• liaising with many parties and people from different organisations.
From the number of delegates attending and the level of feedback the event was deemed a success and exceeded the initial expectations of the client.
